Why won't my Linksys Wireless Card G for the USB work for my computer? - linksys card

Hello, today I have a new computer with Windows 7 I also bought a Linksys Wireless-G USB connection and will not work. I inserted the installation CD and go quickly through all the steps, but when I asked to me wait for the USB wireless adapter to get in touch, and then they can not find after a few minutes. I have tried all the advice they gave me a few times. No luck, that's just not compatible?
