If my dog has been shot by a beebee gun, will it heal itself? - beebee gun dog

I know this sounds a silly question, but I'm not sure that is what happened. He entered the house last night and has a small wound, the size of a rubber head was bleeding slightly. It could have been in a fight with an error, but I'm afraid that someone had shot them. I expect a call from the EFF, but would receive no feedback as I can.
